Action for the month: Think of creative ways to show love to your friends & family during holiday time that does not only revolve around money. Sometimes the best gift you can give is your time, your heart, and your ear. Now I'm not talking about giving your body parts, I'm simply saying, money gifts are not always the thing most important gift of all. (Although some men may love the body parts gift better!) But you can:·Make someone breakfast in bed for a week (better only do this to people you know :), give a “backrub” coupon, build a web page for them, baby-sit for their kids for 4 consecutive Fridays, offer to teach them a skill you have that they always wanted to learn, make a photo album for them…just be creative.
I leave tomorrow 6 Am to head into Orlando to do two quick talks for Toastmasterrs, then on a plane again to Oklahoma to go Tornado Chasing…I'll be gone for a while… But will be twittering updates. My son was nervous he said, “Can't you do adventures that don't require you updating your will?” I will be writing about it for traveling mom and flipping it for an episode of my tv show Live it Up! I want to get close to them, but not so close I see a cow out the left side of the car window. Heading there with Cloud9 tours, and my good friend George, who I met in Antarctica will be leading the adventure, him and Charles the guy who owns the company are the foremost experets on tornados, so I am in good hands. At the conclusion of Tornado chasing I was asked to either go noodling (no that is not an Italian dish, but rather a weird sport where a catfish sucks onto your arm and you bring him out of the water) or bull riding…I think I'm doing the bullriding but I will see. Yes I know Oklahoma has been hit by the severve storms lately and thus that's why we are going ther to chase them. Boyfriend, not worried…he never worries about that, I have to figure out why : Anyway…won't be back for a while..and probably will not have email access….so just so you know. Speak to you when I get back in June.

Hey Guys,
I just wanted to say that I appreciate you all for being so supportive of my career over the years. When a person has a burning desire in them to go after a dream, and those that are close to them are behind them, there is no greater feeling…so really thanks! Yes, I’m getting mushy because it’s Valentine’s Day. Okay, so we are already a month and a half into the New Year and up to our second holiday. Whether you are with someone or not, remember, you have to love yourself first for you to be able to give love. None of us are perfect, but if you look for the good in people instead of criticizing it goes a long way and makes people feel so much better and strengthens the relationship. Focus on the good in the person and they will feel loved and appreciated.
